The words of Dr. Rodney Howard-Brown continue in my head. Words like Christians in Churches like a log. The greatest power on earth sitting in pews. What a waste of power. I pray lord please don’t let me ever get to that place of complacency, dullness and deadness of spirit. 2nd Cor. 4:7 but we have this treasure in earthen vessels that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. I cry and pray to stay hungry and thirsty for more of God in me.
Please continue to remove the blind folds of religion and traditions from my eyes. That I may truly see his overwhelming love for me. His matchless, greatness, death burial and resurrection. Jesus I praise you, Halleluiah. This scripture comes to mind Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of faith: Who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross. As I meditate and think he died at the cross for me, brings tears to my eyes. That this could bring him joy. Who on earth could possibly have joy over dying for someone else. Only an awesome, great savior Jesus, which we serve and love.
A loving son Jesus; let it be thy will, that saw us through time and space a finished work. He saw me a daughter of God. Halleluiah. Doing just what Jesus did on the earth. Destroying all works of the devil. This gives me great joy unspeakable and full glory. The great commission scripture comes to mind Like 16:15- Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. –Wanda R.
I am wondering what is one word that I can use to describe the Great Awakening Tours , and there are so many that come to heart; intense, momentum just to name a few. This is just the beginning and as I have been coming to the services for these few days I realize that God is doing something on the inside of me that I can’t yet describe or put into words. It’s exactly like trying to choose one word to describe the Great Awakening, I really don’t know what to tag it as but I do know just like the speaking in terms of the meetings, that God is doing something on the inside that is not quite seen in the natural. Night after night Pastor Rodney mentions that we don’t understand the magnitude of what is taking place in the mass audience of people that we don’t see in the sanctuary, but the anointing is going forth into people homes and destroying yokes, setting people free, healing, delivering, shaking, and awakening people to the things of God and mobilizing them to go get the end time harvest. Likewise that’s what I believe that is taking place on the inside of me, it seems like chaos and things are moving slow or maybe just not the way I think it should in the natural, but I keep being reminded of the scripture in Romans 8:28 “For we know that all things work together for good…” Yes its like every meeting there is a download that is taking place that the effects of, which I can’t grasp now, will resound in the days to come. This deep work that God is doing on the inside, its to shake, break, and kill if need be things that are not needed, because in order for us to see a Great Awakening here in America and abroad there has to first come one on the inside of us individually. So I must say that God is Awakening the church, not a building or some man made denomination but the “Church” His ordained Body of believers in Jesus Christ. Awakening my vision, taking the scales off where I can see Him, like the scripture say we behold Him as in a glass (mirror) and are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. (2 Corinthians 3:18) Notice it is “by the Spirit of the Lord,” that is what has been preached since day one of the Great Awakening, and that is why we need the Holy Spirit, to be transformed, I believe that God is calling me to yield even more to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, its as if God wants to reveal Himself to the lost and dying world; He would definitely have to do that through me, sorry to be personal but this is my blog so I’ll speak about the work He is doing in this heart, which I believe is congregation wide, so He would have me yield to the Holy Spirit, in turn being transformed into the image of the Son, which is Love, that the world can see Him! I believe even though the momentum is just being built up God has already begin to work on the inside of every individuals heart who has decided to plug in, and press in, awakening us to His heart and that is seeing that no one perishes, the lost, backslidden and even weak knee believers be reconciled back to Himself. –Terrence S.
Rodney Howard Brown says for awhile I had always felt this emptiness, like I wasn’t doing something right in my Christian walk but never could put my finger on it. I was clueless. I would act like everything was ok, but deep down I wanted so much more than what I was receiving. I have always been told that “You stand out in a crowd” and “God has something so much bigger for you” but I never saw that, ever. These Great Awakening Tours America meetings have really been touching me deep down where the dust was gathering and it’s awesome! I’ve never been so hungry to read the word, it’s like I freak out if I haven’t had time during the day to read at least a little bit. The youth as a whole has this reading plan which has also dramatically helped me stay reading the bible daily. The things I would do I would never really look at through the eyes of the spirit. I never saw the way that God sees these things. Rodney Howard Browne tells us that These bad habits are changing because God is revealing to me how easily your spirit man can become impure in the things that we watch, what we say and how we say it, also even in our attitude. Opening up these doors allows so much space for the enemy to come in and take me out and I refuse to let that happen. I’m contending, not for the battle that has already been won, but I’m contending for the change that I want to see take place in my life. I don’t even want to look the same. I want to walk, talk, breathe, sleep, act in a completely different way. I never want the old Jill to resurface, I always want to keep moving and pressing forward. Dear Pastor Rodney Howard Browne, I just posted this on my facebook – I was watching something really awesome last night. It said a lot to me. At the Rodney Howard-Brown meeting (live stream) he had everyone go up to stand together who are soul-winning and those who have gone out to his Great Awakening Tour before. Over 100+ people came up and stood together…it was a truly beautiful portrait of people tall and short, different shapes and sizes, skin colors, male & female..BUT they all had a beautiful GLOW about them.
Each one. they had a peace about them. Just regular people like you and me. And they had JOY. why ?? they are filled with the Holy Spirit and are DOING the word. not just quoting scripture and saying they are Christians. That’s what I saw anyway. And that’s where I’m headed…soul winning, with a script in hand. it works…and just said I’m letting go and letting God. Thats the key – – a lot of Christians say they follow Christ, but really are following a lot of other things instead. make sense ?

Rodney Howard Brown tells us that let them praise and exalt the name of the Lord, for His name alone is exalted and supreme! His glory and majesty are above earth and heaven! Psalms 148:13 AMP
A. A name is the thing by which a person or thing is known. God is called by many different names in the Bible, each of which reveals aspects of His nature and character.
1. ELOHIM. ELOHIM is the first word used in scripture used to designate “God”. “In the beginning ELOHIM created the heaven and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1)
EL: meaning “God, god, mighty one, strength” (Deuteronomy 32:4). EL is usually used in compound with other terms as EL Elyon, EL Shaddai, etc.
EL ELYON: “The Most High” (Deuteronomy 32:8).
Genesis 14:18-20 KJV – And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God [EL Elyon]. 19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God [EL Elyon], possessor of heaven and earth: 20 And blessed be the most high God [EL Elyon], which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand.
EL OLAM: “The Everlasting God.” Not only is He everlasting in duration, but He is everlastingly faithful.
Isaiah 26:4 KJV – Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.
EL SHADDAI: “The Almighty God.”
Genesis 17:1 KJV – And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
Some scholars say the word “shaddai” is derived from the word “shad” meaning breast, giving rise to the names “The Satisfier” and “All Sufficient One”. Some say “shad” means “mountain”. Either way, He is still the God who is more than enough!
2. ADONAI: Lord, lord, master, owner, ruler.
Used in reference to men and God – it can refer to a person who is a master, owner or ruler, or it can refer to the Lord God, because He is the Master and Owner of everything.
When we call Jesus “Lord” we are recognizing Him as our Master – if we call Jesus Lord and do not obey Him then our language and conduct are contradicting each other.
3. JEHOVAH: the personal NAME of God in His relationship as REDEEMER.
Exodus 3:13-15 KJV – And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? 14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. 15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.
Exodus 6:2-3 KJV – And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the Lord: 3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.
Rodney Howard Browne says that Jehovah is the name for the Lord God occurring most frequently in the Old Testament (5,321 times). Jehovah is the covenant name of God expressing personal relationship and when His name is compounded with other terms, together they identify and make specific those relationships.
4. The Compound Names of JEHOVAH:
JEHOVAH ELOHIM: SUPREME GOD
Genesis 2:4 KJV – These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God [Jehovah Elohim] made the earth and the heavens.
This name identifies Jehovah with the creation of all things. The Triune God is also the Redeemer of His people.
JEHOVAH JIREH: The LORD will PROVIDE
Genesis 22:14 AMP – So Abraham called the name of that place The Lord Will Provide [Jehovah Jireh]. And it is said to this day, On the mount of the Lord it will be provided.
God provided a substitute for Isaac and He provided, for us, once and for all a substitute – the Lamb of God. Romans 8:32 AMP – He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other] things?
JEHOVAH RAPHA: The LORD my HEALER
Exodus 15:26 NASU – And He said, “If you will give earnest heed to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in His sight, and give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I, the Lord, am your HEALER.”
He is speaking here about physical diseases and physical diseases. This promise is conditional upon obedience – yours and mine.
JEHOVAH NISSI: The LORD is my BANNER
Exodus 17:15 AMP – And Moses built an altar and called the name of it, The Lord is my Banner. Moses built this altar to commemorate the victory God gave Israel over Amalek. Aaron and Hur had held up Moses’ hands until sunset, and while they did so Israel prevailed.
Song of Solomon 2:4 KJV – He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love.
JEHOVAH SHALOM: The LORD is my PEACE
Judges 6:24 KJV – Then Gideon built an altar there unto the Lord, and called it Jehovah-shalom. When God called Gideon to lead Israel to victory over the Midianites, the Angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon. When he realized that it was the Angel of the Lord, he thought he would die. The Angel assured him that he would not and spoke peace to him. Jehovah assured him that he would live and lead Israel to triumph. Jehovah was peace to him even before the battles began.
Shalom (peace) means more than freedom from conflict; it means prosperity, health, well-being, and faith in the face of conflict.
John 14:27 KJV – Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
JEHOVAH RAAH: The LORD is my SHEPHERD
Psalms 23:1 KJV – The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
John 10:11 AMP – I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd risks and lays down His [own] life for the sheep.
1 Peter 5:4 NKJV – And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.
JEHOVAH TSIDKENU: The LORD our RIGHTEOUSNESS
Jeremiah 23:6 AMP – In His days Judah shall be saved and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is His name by which He shall be called: The Lord Our Righteousness.
1 Corinthians 1:30 KJV – But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.
JEHOVAH SABAOTH/TSEBAOTH: The LORD of HOSTS
Psalms 24:10 AMP – Who is [He then] this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory.
2 Kings 6:13-17 Elisha’s servant’s eyes are opened to see the hosts of God – horses and chariots of fire – surrounding the city.
JEHOVAH SHAMMAH: The LORD is THERE
Ezekiel 48:35 AMP – The distance around the city shall be 18,000 [4 x 4,500] measures; and the name of the city from that day and ever after shall be, The Lord Is There. God – the great God – is ever present with His people!
Hebrews 13:5b-6 NKJV – For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6 So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
Rodney Howard Browne thank God that He does not only save us once but almost on a daily base. I have been Christian for many years but still learning things. But this times not more on head knowledge but in my gut rather. Sometimes I am envious to see brand new believers because they know nothing and when they hear a teaching they grasp fully. Anyways…
I am truly blessed from the pastor Rodney Howard Brown who came from Miami. If I am to share one thing let me share that. When he talked about Jesus being asked whether he was the one or not. John The Baptist send people to ask Jesus whether He is the one or shall we wait or another one? Jesus reply was not I have a degree from there and diploma here but basically he talked about signs and wonders taking place. Such as blind seeing, deaf hearing… etc .
So far I have learned so much and went to many different conferences. But seeing signs and wonders taking place right in front of my eyes raising my faith to believe in Jesus power over everything in this world also above and under this world. As well as I am capable of doing such things and even more as Jesus said to His disciples. So without signs and wonders Christianity is just and another religion and as and ex-Muslim I reject that! In Great Awakening Tours says that something that I learned by attending Minister’s Conference 2010 is really just how to let go and allow God to do the expanding in my life instead trying to do it myself. I really did not go with any expectations but I suppose that my spirit had great expectations, because I walked out of the conference with a sense of fulfillment. It was during Sunday and Monday night that the Holy Spirit really got my attention and moved in my life like I had never experienced before. I mean I had never been to a service where someone did not lay hands on me and I fell under the power of God. When Pastor Rodney Howard Browne says blew on us it was the most incredible experience! After that, I was drunk in the Holy Ghost; more than I had ever been before!
Then, to top it off, God showed me very clearly exactly what He had planned for my future. I had an idea before but it was more like a confirmation and I actually saw it happening. It was awesome!!!
I also learned about the anointing for the ministry of helps! I definitely got stretched in that area because I was serving with the kid’s ministry a lot (and screaming kids is not exactly enjoyable.)
My life has changed now in the sense that I am reaffirmed in what God has called me to do, and I feel peace about it. My life is still being molded and shaped, but by attending the Minister’s Conference of Rodney Howard Brown, I felt like it has been shaped 50 times faster!
I really had a good time receiving an impartation from the ministers who came, and I am really grateful to be here. It is a privilege to call this place my new home.
When I entered into my internship, I had an idea of what areas I wanted to work in. I decided to learn about children administration as well as how to run a Worship Department. I began to work in the Nursery with the babies. I was not all that excited to begin with, but God has been dealing with me in several areas of my life as I spend time taking care of those precious babies. Rodney Howard Browne tells us that God has been teaching me about the heart of a child and how I must have a heart just like theirs. The innocence and purity found in children is something that we must go back to as we continue to grow older, even in spiritual maturity. In Mark 9:35-37, Jesus taught the twelve disciples about their attitude towards children.
In Great Awakening Tours shows that Jesus said that in order to be first, one must be the very last, a servant of all. I have learned the true meaning of servant-hood. He also said that if we welcome the children, we welcome Him. In Mark 10: 13-16, Jesus rebuked the disciples because they were hindering the children from touching Him. He declared that the kingdom of God belongs to the children. I am now beginning to understand what Jesus meant with those words. I have the privilege of leading the babies in praise and worship, as well as teaching them Bible lessons.
Rodney Howard Brown tells us that they are so open to receive Jesus and instruction. When they say the Name of Jesus, I can feel the heart of the Father. If it brings me joy to hear the Name of Jesus being used with such confidence and purity of heart, the Father must be ecstatic. In the Worship Department I have learned that excellence does not mean perfect. Many times I wanted to see everything running smoothly and orderly, but I came to understand that if there is room for the Holy Spirit to move, that is as perfect as it can get. That is the key to a great time of worship.
Great Awakening Tours is the biggest thing God has done in my department is changing my heart. I went into the RBI office knowing that I would have to deal with paperwork and filing. Never did I really think about the ministry that God has given me. God is so faithful to the students in that He guides them, in finding a place to stay, even getting to America. As an office we set goals of how many students we are believing for that, and God meets us and supplies the students. He has given us such a compassion and excitement for the incoming students. God is moving through us in the office to help the in coming students, through prayer, informing them about housing, and to just listen when they need an ear.
Rodney Howard Browne shows one example of how God is moving in our department, is that we make calls to people are interested in school. I am going through the system and making phone calls. I get to one number I call and speak to the guy and I am telling him about school of worship. He didn’t even know that the school was there he was so excited! I told him I was going to send him an application and that I would call him later in the week to see how he is doing. Well I went to call him later in the week and there weren’t enough numbers in phone number for me to call him! Rodney Howard Brown tells us that God allowed me to call this guy and tell him about the school. I love how God knows what we need, when we need it.
After being really scared about going on the street, God was amazing. He brought the right people to me. I prayed with two lady ministers who both rededicated their lives to the Lord, and they said they knew that someone was going to speak to them today.
While we were out today, my team prayed for my leg. I had a stroke a year ago, and I have been unable to move my toes or ankle. During prayer, my toes started to move, and I have been walking without a brace or a cane. I went to Wal Mart and to the nursing home, and I prayed with 4 people today to get saved.
Most people said they hoped they were going to heaven. When I told them of God’s promises to us they were happy, but when they said they were forgiven and forgave others who ever have hurt them they would cry and say now I’m forgiven and I am going to heaven. I spoke to another person that was unable to speak. I asked “blink if you understand and blink if you want to receive Jesus” and she did. She was crying during the prayer.
