Campus preacher “God is angry” yelling. Me and one of the young man from ignite. Preacher invites me to speak Sheila, sclerosis of the liver, pneumonia,arm in sling,reeked of alcohol,carrying a blanket, shuffling down sidewalk(doctors gave her 3 months to live). Accepted Christ, said I was an answer to prayer.Prayed for healing & restoration physically. She said the love of God was in my eyes and she needed that. she asked me to share this love with her friend. She looked down the alley & didn’t see him. I told her where I’d be if she saw him.
Dear Pastors Rodney & Adonica, In October of 2008 the Lord put in our heart for the winter of 2009 to sew a $1,000 seed offering in the building fund. Then in November/December the monthly Rise & Build was introduced for the new sanctuary. We gave our monthly offering for Rise & Build, our Tithes/Offering, and the $1,000 seed and within 24 hours we recieved a call from our Realtor approving our new home a 2006 (2200)sq.ft 4/2 in a nice community. My wife and I have 4 children living in a Apartment and were believing and asking God to enlarge our borders. A simple step of obedience and faith and watch God move. My family and I have been touched and blessed many times here at The River and we are so grateful for this Ministry. Thank you Jesus, Thank you Pastor’s Rodney & Adonica we are so blessed. At the mall, a person in line for free product received Christ. A family of six received Christ. Six men all received Christ. 7 team members of a soccer team received Christ. In a church party lot, kids threw rocks at my car. I chased them down: “Since you threw a rock at my car, you have to listen to what I have to say.” I led him to the Lord. At a nursing home, a person chouldn’t speak. I prayed for her and she said amen.
11/12 & 11/13/07 Nursing home visitation Patient was unable to speak. I ask her to blink her eyes if she understood what I was saying. Each time I ask her to blink she responded. During the sinners prayer I believe the Holy Spirit quickened her body and she was able to blink when asked if she wanted Jesus to come into her heart. She responded to the prayer by blinking. Gentlemen was sleeping. I shook his arm and told him God loved him and had a great plan for his life. Snarling he said “You woke me up for this?” I said “Yes sir this is very important.” I then continued with the script. At the end he said “Thank you for waking me up. See you in Heaven absolutely.” He then squeezed my hand super tight and would not let go. This was life changing!
At a nursing home, a lady couldn’t articulate her words to say salvation prayer. So I prayed for her to be able to speak, then she was able to pray salvation prayer clearly. NH On the 12th we went to the nursing home & our team won 79 out of 90 people saved. Streets On the 13th in the “Hood” of Louisville a 7 year old recieved Jesus & 70 others including a lady who was immediately healed of Asthma. At a nursing home, a lady in room in wheelchair hoped she was going to heaven and nodded her head to notify she received Jesus. When leaving, I walked by her room again and she was sitting reading bible. A man who was initially upset rededicated his life to the Lord. Had favor when going to a little league football with parents and kids. I feel the Holy Spirit take over with a boldness.
Just wanted to say that this past Sunday was off the chain. 349 people coming down front to give their hearts to Jesus is what it is all about. I can’t say how happy my wife, Karen and our five boys are, to be here in Tampa to be involved with a ministry and Church that is all about the great commission and where the Spirit of God is allowed to move. The Lord heard the cry of our hearts and led us to Brother Rodney’s ministry supernaturally a little over two years ago. I remember crying out to God saying, “God, I know there has to be someone in America that gives a rip about winning the lost besides me and Karen.” It wasn’t six months and I came to Brother Rodney’s meeting for the first time. I didn’t even know at that time that they were interested in winning the lost! Since that time we have been on several GAT’s.
I have thought many time about the verses in Acts 19, where it says in a space of two years everyone in Asia heard the Word, both Jews and Greeks. I would ask myself, what are the churches doing? Why don’t they have a goal like this? Since being in Tampa I have found a Church with these types of goals! It’s all about following the Biblical pattern that God gave us in the Book of Acts. People being touched by the fire of God and then going out in the streets to win the lost!
This past Sunday we saw a great harvest of souls come in as a result of a great plan and a lot of hard work by the people to get the job done. This is grass roots. We are out in the communities daily. (Acts 5:42) I am involved in the bus ministry too. Each Sunday we go out to the communities we have been in and bring families to Church. This past Sunday we had to use two buses to bring in one hundred people, just on my route. We have five routes. As a bus captain I am also involved in the prayer room, when the altar call is given. I see the changes on people’s faces as they come in and are changed. Saved and filled with the Holy Ghost, speaking in tongues. Everyone was so happy this past Sunday as all the kids got their Christmas presents. I know this next Sunday will be even bigger! This is only the tip of the iceberg for what is coming. Thank you Pastor Rodney and Adonica for your obedience to the Great Commission and your leadership. I know we are in just the beginning stages of a great revival and I am so happy to be a part of it!
